Every MSO Olympiad follows the same trusted format — English medium, multiple choice questions, OMR based evaluation and zero negative marking. Syllabus as per NEP (2020), NCF (2023), NCERT, CBSE and various State Boards.

Schools can register in two ways — fill out and courier the registration forms, or fill out, scan and email the registration forms to MSO.
The registration fee is ₹200 per Olympiad per student.
All MSO Olympiads are conducted in English. All questions are multiple choice questions (MCQs) and there is no negative marking. Exams are conducted on OMR sheets.
MSO believes in stress-free exams and competition beyond books. There is no pressure to have separate study material. The syllabus for each Olympiad is described on our website, and students can practice from any book.
All MSO Olympiad syllabi are aligned with NEP (2020), NCF (2023), NCERT and CBSE guidelines, as well as various State Board curricula. Detailed class-wise syllabus is available on the MSO website.
The school must choose one available date to conduct the exam. Different dates are available for each exam, and a different set of question papers is provided for each date.
OMR sheets should be returned to the BFN Head Office in Patna (mailing address) within 7 days of the exam date. MSO will not evaluate any answer sheets received after the deadline.
Results are announced about 5 weeks after the answer sheets are received. They are sent to the respective schools and are also uploaded on the MSO website.
